I really liked his class. You could tell he really cared for his students!! He’d be the type to go out of his way to provide more resources!! I was hesitant to take a professor without reviews on BruinWalk but he ended up being a really great prof. He really does understand college kid struggles and does his best to further explain anything that is confusing. Although, we do run out of time sometimes for class!! He’s really funny and nice!! I like that he held study sessions for the midterm and the final!! Really if anything the only thing I hate about the class was the mandatory 2 hour lab each week since those were tedious. Would totally take him again!!

I think Artur was a great teacher for LS 30A! He was very organized with his slides and was also quite funny at times. The first midterm was a bit harder than expected, but he made up for it with extra credit and an easier final. He is very nice and welcoming, and I would recommend him to those looking for a good professor for 30A. His slides were engaging, lectures not super boring, but the labs tended to be a bit confusing and the TAs did not help a lot. Overall, completely doable class.

It’s clear that Jaroszewicz is a new professor, but fortunately, this actually turned out to be a good thing. Being a UCLA graduate himself, he knew the perfect balance between being considerate with students and challenging them. Even the textbook and the labs are GARBAGE, his lectures are clear for the most part and when they aren’t, he takes time in the next lecture to reexplain. Sometimes, he runs out of time for the all the slides though. The class is weighted fairly and there are extra credit opportunities. I found the midterm and final to be fairly challenging, but if you do the work he gives, it is manageable. With time, I’m sure he and the class will be even better! He is very caring and wants you to succeed.

Artur is honestly a really great professor. Going into the quarter I was nervous seeing how he was a new professor, but I think that was a positive. He understood how to talk to students and made sure they understood the concept at hand. He makes sure that the students are given help by offering extra office hours and review sessions before the midterm and final. He's also a pretty funny guy.

For homework, there's a series of math problems from the textbook that are due at the end of each week at the beginning of lecture. He never assigns too much homework; it only took me a couple hours to complete it each week. In addition to homework, we have a weekly lab where we have a coding assignment to complete based on that week's material. I had a good TA who was always really helpful when we asked questions.

The midterm and final are harder than practice exams he had given us. But they weren't hard in the sense they were impossible, but just more complex. The questions were completely doable, you just needed to think through it more. We were also supposed to have a lab quiz, but he made it extra credit instead.

Overall I think he's a great professor who always teaches concepts to the class in a very concise manner, always showing students the proof behind a certain step. I'd previously taken AP Calculus in high school, so I had familiarity with the material, but by taking this class I finally understood the reasoning behind certain formulas or theories. Plus, I'm going to be taking 30B with him next quarter :)
