This was a very interesting class with a basic rundown on techniques used in industry for micro/nanofabrication. It was fun learning about the theory, but the hands-on aspect of manufacturing was limited, as expected. The grading was very lenient. As long as you have a remote clue on what is going on, you should be fine. Homework can be confusing at times. I had no idea what to expect for the final, but in the end, it turned out all right. Professor Chen acts like a sweet grandpa - I love him, but sometimes I have no idea what he is yapping about. Overall, I would take this class again.

This class was great! Professor Chen is fantastic, his lectures are clear and engaging. He is really nice and clearly cares about the material and seeing students succeed. The class itself was chill: 4 homework assignments, 4 in-person labs, 1 lab report, 1 group project, and a final. The homeworks and final were very reasonable, as were the assignments.
