Quarter: Spring 2016
Grade: A

It's an easy class with lots of interesting topics. Basically 5 labs and one presentation and that's it! Knowledgeable professor with interesting research topics. TA's are also helpful. You basically just need to do pre-lab and post-lab and you should be good. OLED lab is pretty hard though...pray you won't get this one. This hasn't worked for years.

Quarter: Fall 2021
Grade: A

I took this class in person and it ended up being a very interesting class! For this quarter you get to choose 4 labs out of 8 and you have to do 2 powerpoint lab reports, 1 group presentation, and 1 written lab report.

The most important thing to do for lab reports is to answer the thought questions. TA's are really helpful during experiments and while writing your report, so make sure to make full use of them. Professor Duan is also happy to answer any questions you may have so don't hesitate to ask him for clarification.

Lastly, they graded based on improvement. They leave critiques on your first lab report so you know what to do for the next one, and as long as you do better as the class goes on, you'll get a good grade. For example, my powerpoints were B- average and my written report was A-, but my final grade was an A.
