Dr. Robbins is an extremely caring and sweet professor. She is very approachable and cares about her students very much. She embodies everything a nursing student should strive to be- caring, hard-working, responsive, and knowledgeable. I love how she ties in her research into class materials because it makes the material a lot more memorable. She is very accessible to her students and works very hard to make her classes an open space for everyone. I love how she calls on people to come up in front of the class after exams because it motivates me to be one of those people and do as well as I can. There needs to be more teachers like Dr. Robbins.
Dr. Robbins is such as sweetheart. She really cares about how her students learn. She breaks everything down well and GIVES EXAMPLES!! Love her! The tests are like the hw and nothing is unexpected. 10/10 lady
Dr. Robbins is a complete sweetheart and really does go out of her way to better the understanding of the material for her students.
All of her slides are uploaded to CCLE and available to download so you can follow along during lecture (she's very tech-friendly!)
The class points consists of four homework sets and three exams (two "midterms" and one cumulative final). I do not know if this was just our TA but thorough study guides were provided before every exam and gone over with the TA in class, and Dr. Robbins + TA were always willing to answer questions over email as well.
There is a textbook required for this class, as some end-of-the-chapter questions were on tests!
If you do your homework sets (and actually understand the formulas and concepts), memorize the end-of-the-chapter questions, and also understand the study guide questions, you'll be golden!
Professor Robbins is literally one of the best professor's I've had in UCLA. She is so helpful and she really cares about her students learning the material. It's an easy class and she posts the lectures for you in ccle and she gives a small amount of homework. The book for this class is just required for the definitions she gives you which are really important so make sure to learn them.
