Vinit is a fantastic professor, and an even better teacher. His lesson plans had objectives; his class sessions had purpose; and his dedication to us, his students, really showed. It was a hard class, and things got a bit chaotic for me personally when it came down to working on the case study we had to develop, but I think that was so important. There were weekly readings, which we had to synthesize onto one page, due before class too. And again, that just made so much of a difference. It meant you actually had to READ for class. It meant you actually had to process, and reflect. You didn't have to spend hours and hours doing it, but just thinking and writing, and coming up with a thesis statement which reflected the themes for that week's selections, meant that many more of us were prepared for class.

Furthermore, Vinit was very receptive to my recommendations for improving this class even further. I talked to him about how my experience with the case study would've been even better had we known more about project management, and you know what? He agreed!!! He saw that his course could be a very important platform for teaching the mostly MA candidates in his class skills that we could use in the future. He's constantly thinking of ways his curriculum can better prepare us as practitioners, and I am so grateful. Thank you, Vinit.
