u dont need to go lecture cause he posts his lecture notes online. and his lecture notes contain everything word-by-word of what he says in class. some people do listen to him in class, but most of us just sit there reading daily bruin or other stuff for other class. point #1 don't go to lecture - its a waste of time. point #2: do go to discussion cause its 10% of your grade. #3: do turn in your homework. homeworks are pretty easy. pretty much just copying stuff from the lecture notes (he's very conceptual). #4: midterms are open book and notes. i don't know what i should comment about the midterms. first midterm was easy but second one was hard. final was .... (i dont know).
i didn't learn anything. key in getting an A for this class, know where to look for the answers on the lecture notes..

Until everything is over, I still do not understand completely his lecture notes. 1st midterm was easy with avg of 83%. 2nd one was a little crazy avg 50%. Final was just a disaster. He is too old to teach. Once, he drew a protein's structure that had one C with 5 bonds. After he looked at the structure, he said "Oh, It should not have 5 bonds but I do not know why I have it on my note. Well!. Ok!..." He just moved on. It was so frustrated to sit in that class for 50min. It seemed so long. He just sucks. But Two TAs were extremely nice. Hope they will also nice while grading the final.

The professor is not as bad as everyone thinks. He's really nice, cares about his students...but his lectures are kinda boring. The exams were based mostly on concepts and the averages were around the 60s. I would recommend this professor becuase it's not that diffiult to get a good grade in his course.
