Professor Carter is a really great lecturer. His gently midwestern accent will put you at ease and help you love the back half of griffiths. The class is pretty tough, but very manageable. He didn't cover waveguides in our class, instead spending more time discussing some neat plasma phenomena, and really going into depth on the special relativity section.
