A very rewarding and interesting class! Bradbury is a funny and knowledgeable professor and he engages with the material in a way that makes it enjoyable to attend lecture. This course is very reading intensive; reading the assigned chapter before lecture and then outlining it should do the trick though :) The exams are a little tricky, but are basically the typical psych standard. You should definitely take this class!!

I LOVE HIM! he is by far the best professor at UCLA. Study hard...read the reader and notes you will do awesome! His class is so interesting I would look forward to studying for it! I would take it again just for fun. =]

Bradbury is an excellent lecturer. The material for the class is incredibly interesting and is presented in an interesting way too. Tests were pretty difficult but what you learn is priceless, so study and make it worth your time!

Tests are difficult, but fair. Lectures are very interesting, and the information is priceless. Take this class, it is definitely worth your time. I got a B- and am still happy I took it.

His lectures are engaging and interesting, but his exams are straight out of the textbook which is a reader. The material in the reading is extremely interesting however I read every single page but the questions on the exam were hard to relate to the material I read. The paper we had to write was not bad and we all got 29 out of 35 points, I got a B in the class but learned a lot.

Amazing Professor. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He actually cares about student learning, and does his best to tailor the tests to the class. After a difficult midterm, he made the final easier and guided our studying more than before. He actually test on the material he lectures on, and follows the book very closely. The class is packed everyday because he is teaching helpful information about life skills. Great attitude, very helpful, and uses great examples to illustrate theories and findings.

The class was very fun and informative. You will learn so much that you will be able to apply to your own life. The professor is very good. He knows what he is talking about and is very organized in his presentations. The lecture slides are available at the website and are very full of information so they are very helpful. The exams are very fair too (Multiple Choice). Study the lectures and know them very well...attend the reader reviews to help you understand the reading because they tend to be a little difficult to fully understand on your own. If Krista is your TA, you are totally in luck! She's great! So, take the class and learn something that might change your relationships with others!

Professor is a very good and organized lecturer. the exams are not all that difficult IF you do the readings and study the notes, the exams heavily rely on lectures.

on reader.... too much for me and as i noticed for other students too. since about a quarter of the exams derive from the reader, i didn't see it worthwhile to keep up with the texts.

assignments... we only had 1 assignment which was ok to do, it wasn't that hard and interesting to do. it'll eat up a good chunk of your grade though.

the class itself was really good, i would denitaely recommend it to others

Prof Bradbury is a great professor, he seems to really care about whether his students learn something from his class and apply it to their own relationships. Most of the lectures topics are based on research, if you understand the main points you should do fine. The grade for the class is based on 3 papers (that have nothing to really do with lecture nor the readings, but was fun to do) and a cumulative final. There is a curve for the class. The reader was a waste of money and too much to read. I skimmed the first week of reading and didn't even open the reader after that. Even though we were told that there would be specific questions on the final from the reader, you could still answer most of those questions if you study your lecture notes (I got an A- without reading all the reading).

Professor Bradbury is a really great guy and an excellent lecturer. I always enjoyed the information he provided in lecture, but I was a little thrown off with my expectations of the course. The information he gives is direct from the lab! His information was very scientifical and you kind of had to break down the information to normal terms. He was really easy to talk to, and always made sure during lecture that questions were answered. I can't stress enough what a good guy he is--and funny too. The reader was ridiculous and a waste of money in my opinion. It cost like $60 and was about 400 pages. I didn't know one person who read past the 2nd week because the reading was so painfully dense. Other than that, I really enjoyed the course and feel that I learned something valuable. The class isn't very hard either. We had 3 two page papers that were actually fun to write and a final. I suggest you take this class.
