This class was surprisingly involved for what I honestly assumed was going to be an easy A. Half your grade is an oral report which is basically teaching the class for an hour. I hate public speaking so THAT SUCKED. The final involves you actually finding an artist and talking to them or otherwise actively engaging in live or performative art somewhere in LA. It stressed me out my last quarter, but overall the experience was positive. Professor is not a cruel grader, and the information is very current and interesting. She's generous with her office hours. I wouldn't take the class if you're not into art, but if you are it's a cool Honors credit.
...the review below me is completely absurd. Kate Ceredona is definitely a hard grader, but that's because she wants students to push themselves to learn and understand the material better. She is by no means, a "BxTCH." All too often, students blame their own inabilities on the TA. TAs are there to facilitate student-generated discussion and help students understand the material. They are not there to hold your hand or spoon-feed you answers/good grades.
