Professor Sherno is a very genuine and caring person. Spanish 25 is a composition class, which may sound hard at first but it really isn't. She allows you to write a rough draft, which she grades very leniently on grammar & vocab. usage, and comments in great details how you can improve your final draft. She's sweet, approachable, and truly cares about teaching. Frankly, if you participate, do your homework (which she really only cares if you do it, you won't be graded on how well you do your homework), and put some effort into your essays, you will do well, if not very well. Don't get discouraged if you don't get an A++++ on your essays, because she grades rather strictly on the final draft, but your essay grades are definitely not everything. I'm not a native speaker, but I did well and enjoyed the class. I would definitely take another class taught by her.
