Understand all the concepts, watch all the films closely (take notes), and keep up with the material. I would recommend to remember key words from her PowerPoint slides which can help you remember specifics about each of the concepts. There are a lot of concepts covered but the Professor lets you know what you are responsible for in preparation for the exams. I would not recommend this class to people who cannot memorize several specific points for each concept.
Looking for an easy grade? Take her Econ 113 course! Midterm: 35% in the A range and another 56% in the B range. 8%Cs and 1%D. How generous is that? She lectures at a very slow pace and so is easy to follow. Agreed, it's more of a women's studies course, but hey, it's classified as an upper div econ. Office hours are hard to come by, but they're not needed. Go to class as she tests on some things mentioned in class but not on her online notes. Basically, EASY class. A quick recap: 90% got As and Bs. (if you want a solid A.. fine... 27% got a solid A)
