Selling the course reader at a discounted price, text me **********
Very straight forward class. Only one essay and final are all you are graded on. The reader is huge, but it's not a very hard class like past reviews have stated.
Very boring, he seems like an amateur professor. Wasn't very helpful. Only a 12 page paper and a final (50%/50%). The questions on the final were ambiguous and we couldn't even ask questions because he wasn't there to proctor the test. He required us to buy a book for the class that we didn't even use-basically he wanted to use the excuse of a required reading to make money for a book published by some kind of coalition he was a part of. I have so many complaints about this class it isn't even funny.
This class is pretty much a boo-hoo-i'm-a-victim type class. I'm asian and I thought it was kind of distasteful to take a class about how terribly Asians are treated by Americans and the US government.
You can get an A if you put in the effort and show up for class. I am selling the required coursereader, short book (Dreams Deported), and the study notes for the final. **********
