Professor Clayman is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. The class was able to sway him to only give us one paper rather than two. We were able to bargain the date for our midterm. His lectures are key! If you don't attend lecture, you'll be lost. But if you go, his lectures are very organized and easy to follow. And you'll do great on the exams. I didn't even read any of the books for the course but attended almost every single lecture and was fine. There was supposed to be two papers, a midterm, and a final. The midterm and final were true/false questions and short answer as to why it is true/false. Pretty straightforward. Highly recommend the class!

**This is for Soc M176 which was not an option to evaluate** Really nice professor! There are two tests and a term-paper, none of which are particularly hard. Lecture and section are not mandatory, but I would highly recommend going to lecture because a vast majority of the test is his lecture material. The second half of the class is pretty boring, but overall its not bad, and isn't too much work.

Dr.Clayman is an amazing professor. I took his class in Spring of 2015 and then took a seminar with him for Fall 2015. I absolutely loved everything about both classes. It will have you telling all your friends and family about what you learned. Very applicable to everyday life. In addition, he is always available to help. The subject matter can be difficult at time but he will happily answer any questions; which, is not something I can say of most UCLA professors. Take his class, you won't regret it!
