If interested, I'm selling the Thinkbook required for this class, 14th Edition (most recent), for $20.00 or best offer. It's usually at the UCLA store for $45.00.

This class was actually super interesting. I took 14C with Hardinger so I basically knew what to expect because he is very predictable in how he teaches and tests us, which I appreciate. Very similar workload to 14C.
Think book and lecture supplements are $45 each at the ucla textbook store, so $90 total plus tax.
I have a brand new completely unused think book and lecture supplement (his newest edition) that I'm selling for 25 each, so $50 total.
The vollhart textbook and answer key you'll need is $290 for hardcover new. (SO EXPENSIVE) and its $233 for the loose leaf version. I'm selling a brand new hardcover vollhart book with answer key book for $85, so 30% of the price for the same exact books!

Hardinger is awesome. It's easy to stay awake in lecture because his jokes are hilarious. His class is SUPER organized. For me, the workload was very light for this class. All you have to do is memorize the lecture supplement and go over his old exams to get used to his style of testing. This is why Hardinger's awesome. He's one of the few south campus professors to offer his old exams out to us. Not only that, his tests are quite similar to his old exams too! He rarely throws any curveballs. His tests are super fair! However, I advise you to be careful on his exams, as he tends to ask many nitpicky questions such as definitions of certain words or a random fact from the lecture supplement that you wouldn't think he'd ask.
Took Hardinger for both Chem 14C & 14D and he's great! His tests are very doable because he provides old practice exams which are very similar in style. Never went to any discussions or lectures (he podcasts) and I've done great in his classes. His thinkbook helps you understand the content and the textbooks are unnecessary. You only need the lecture supplement and the thinkbook. If you can get your hands on old exams that he doesn't post on his website, it's extremely helpful.
