Personally, I did not find Professor Jamison's (she goes by Jamison even though her formal name is Watkins) lectures very interesting, but either way they were still manageable to listen to. Of the three professors that lectured for this cluster, however, she is known to be the one who will most likely put you to sleep. The readings she assigns are the heaviest, so if you're smart you will go to lecture and discussion and get everything there to minimize your reading. If you pay attention to lecture and discussion and maybe skim the reading a little, you will be fine for the quizzes. There are four, and the lowest one is dropped. Also, go to one of the movie nights because the last quiz will have an extra credit point asking about one of the movies (but if you've seen the movie already then don't bother). Pay attention to the syllabus because it will tell you the readings (even if there is nothing on CCLE there IS SURE to be reading assigned). I would say that a majority of the quiz tests on Professor Jamison's lecture, so make sure you're paying attention, at least to lectures. Try to just skim instead of read because those assigned readings can be long. Also, SparkNotes is an option when it comes to reading the entirety of the Epic of Gilgamesh. There are two essays, but neither are graded by her. They are graded by your TA, so go to his office hours and see what he is looking for in an essay.
