Quarter: Fall 2023
Grade: A

Easy GE pls take. Literally, you take no tests, you write ez weekly discussions, one (1200 word) midterm essay, and analyse 5 articles (100 words each) and a final essay (also 1200 words). Professor Wang streams his lectures on discord, I never emailed him and only contacted him through discord and was the chillest prof I have ever had. I honestly recommend him as his class was pretty interesting but honestly I stopped going to class during the second week, popped into his streams every once in a while and got an A. I did not try a lot on the weekly discussions and just skimmed through the reading and got a good scores. I will say the class does depend a lot on your TA. I got lucky and switched into Raymond's discussion and he was a pretty fair grader as I've heard other TA's grade harshly. I also have to mention that there is extra credit given for doing a course evaluation at the end of the quarter and he drops your lowest discussion score so you have so much room to do well in the class. Trust me, take this class if you need an easy GE to balance your harder core classes while also being interesting.
