As a freshmen, I was considering the Chinese language major at UCLA. Even though I never followed through on the idea, her class and teaching style are awesome. I was a freshmen basically competing against upper classmen who had a knowledge in both the language and the course. I came completely out of cold water and did fabulous, I got an A and I was more than thrilled. She is difintely awesome and is concerned with her student's progress. I would recommend her for any class she may teach and she is a must for letters of recommendation. One time when I made a homophobic remark in class, she corrected me. At the time I was closeted, that was one of the most interesting moments in my undergraduate career.
Zaijian.
