Dr. Sakai was a very kind woman. However, lectures were often repetitive and sometimes difficult to understand the material considering the high frequency of mistakes. Both midterms were very fair, if you study and pay attention in lecture you will do just fine. I personally did not have a problem with Mastering Physics, I found the homework to be extremely helpful along with the textbook. However, the class average for our final was a 65% -- it was very difficult and did not mimic the other exams given throughout the course.
