Generally speaking, this is not a tough class.
We spent the first 4 weeks on multivariable calculus (Integrations and Stoke's Theorem), which was taught in Math 32 series. I believe Math 32 A/B are pre-requisites for this course, so maybe we should had gone over this part faster.
After the first midterm (week 4), we started to cover some new stuff, Complex Number, Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform and Series Solution of ODEs. I think she explained the concepts well and clearly. She used examples from the book so it would be easy for you to go over the examples after class if you didn't write them down.
Homeworks are doable and won't take you much time as long as you understand those concepts. I spend 3 hours on each set on average.
Tests are easy. You could do well on the tests if you understand those concepts because there's no mathematical tricks or special techniques required in the tests. Actually some of the problems in the Final Exam are exactly as same as the homework problems, so reviewing the homework problems before Final would guarantee you at least 1 or 2 problems out of 7.
As I mentioned above, there isn't much new stuff in this course, so maybe taking Physics 132 would be a good choice.
