전 선생님 is a wonderful professor. Really cares about her students. She post pre recorded lecture on Sunday to prepare for the live lectures. During the pre recorded lecture she teaches us the vocabulary and grammar points for the week. During the live lecture, we go over examples and how to use them properly. Really fun class and I enjoy her effort of finding all these Korean Drama to teach us grammar. She is also very helpful during office hour if you have any clarifying questions. She also allow us to practice Korean with her to improve our speaking skill. I would take her again in a heart beat.
This class was one of my favorite parts of my day, not hard and not a large time investment. Attendance is part of your grade. Compared to Korean 1A, 2A, 3A it was more work. The class works like a flipped classroom so you watch a short video on Sunday then practice in class. The discussions were actual discussions, not like 1A, 2A, 3A series and were apart of your grade. The assignments are light. Overall this class was really fun and definitely would not be a class that causes you alot of stress. If you want to pass with an A you definitely could but if you really wanted to get good at Korean, you obviously have to put in the time. Overall, definitely recommend. She's a great professor and very kind.
I don't think that I learned that much in the class but the professor is really nice. I think that Professor Jeon tried her best to teach the class but it was taught in the morning time when everyone was really tired and it was really hard for her to properly keep people engaged. If you want an easy A go for it, but she didn't really teach very well, I think also it is because there is a language barrier.
