I did not have any music background, so the concepts and technical terms were a little harder to grasp. He does, however, go over all the necessary songs in class, so make sure to take notes as they are analyzed in class. Officer hours are good to clear up confusion. Also, he releases a study guide and if you do that well, the questions are picked directly from the study guide.
