Professor Santagata is a very good teacher. She's fair with her tests, testing only on big concepts that you really should know, and none of of her exams are tricky at all. Her class is as interactive as a lecture can be. She has a pretty thick accent that takes a bit to get used to, but she does make the class interesting and the readings aren't that bad. She has homework online due a day before her classes, which could be bad or good. Bad in that you have to do work, good in that it really forces you to keep up on the reading.
