Ros is great, understanding but also holds you accountable. Course was a little repetitive, but super easy and leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
This class is AMAZING! Gracy is truly one of the best dance teachers I've had in my life. She is so passionate, talented, and devoted to expanding her students' dance practices. She shows up to every class full of energy and always maintains a positive atmosphere that encourages students to be their best artistic selves. She even set aside a class for us to have a candid class discussion about the realities of being a dancer in a world that does not place value on the arts, which was so helpful and professors usually aren't so helpful about. Can't recommend enough!
The class is very hands-on and personal. Participation and engagement are essential for not only your grade but also for a deeper understanding of the concepts. The class is based Alexander technique which is relearning, reeducating and releasing habits the body creates over a certain amount of time. The class allows you to dig deeper into one's self and figure out the most efficient way to complete everyday tasks.
