Professor Koropeckyj is a WONDERFUL teacher (and I'm not one to use all capitals very often). I had very little knowledge of the Cold-War era, especially in Eastern Europe and he really increased my interest. All of the readings were great, the novels he selected were difficult to get through at times but were fantastic and informative. If you want help with anything or are confused about any information, he will be more than willing to help you. He truly cares about his students and their education. Take this class!
He is a nice professor, however a difficult essay grader. The midterm was bit confusing. The midterm and the final are two essays. There is alot of reading in this class, but it is very interesting and usually an easy read.
