This is for PH 150= Detels is a funny guy! he is always smirking in a funny and witty way, as a person i like him. he is accomplished, smart, and really interesting. he is the most interesting of all the guest speakers we had. even though he hardly lectured, he is always there to listen and contribute to conversations when guest speakers came. it was good to have a variety of speakers because then we got real information on different aspects of public health from accomplished people in those fields. his tests ask for some really detailed questions like major percentages so be sure to study his lecture slides in detail. the book was a waste of time, nothing ever came out of it. if you're interested in public health, you'll like the class as a whole. there are no papers and no headache, you can even skip the midterm if you want though i wouldnt recommend it if you want to practice on and understand how he writes his tests for the final. make sure to look at all the practice tests available and the actual midterm for the final. he pulls old questions from them to see who will stupidly stumble into the same crack again.
