Professor Bourland is the best professor I've ever had. I'm currently taking 20B with him. His tests are very straightforward and fair, as long as you learn the rules. Last quarter his final was take home, and this quarter his midterm was also a take home midterm. Not only is Dr. Bourland an amazing professor, but he is also an amazing person; he always gives valuable life lessons. His classes are never boring and always interesting. I would recommend him 100% to anyone. Last quarter I received an A+. Pretty Easy A and an amazing man/professor. TAKE HIS CLASS AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

This professor uses great examples, making music theory even more fun. His lecture are funny, and have an air of intimacy. He knows what he is doing, and he encourages real application of the things he teaches.
