I was extremely nervous going into this class as I was surprised I passed Physics 1C, but it ended up going totally fine! Candler is an engaging professor who explains why he teaches as he does, tries to improve from previous quarters, and encourages questions. HW's are hard but not ridiculous, and if you do them you will understand the material. Tests were very fair, and similar to the HW. Cannot recommend Candler highly enough - second only to Kao!
Candler is a really good lecturer. His explanations make a lot of sense, so any new material is easy to understand. However, a lot of this course requires 1C material, which I did not retain that well. The only con I found was Candler only has 8am lectures, and he posts very little material on CCLE, so you have to go to lecture, but he does throw candy if you answer questions.
Grading was:
10% 2 quizzes
20% HW
30% Midterm
39% Final

Honors seminar adjacent to 101a. Candler is a super engaging and interesting professor, and in this class you learn about cool applications of electromagnetics both from him and your classmates. Fun, but a fair bit of work (presentations and research reports).
