Professor Brenner is a nice guy. He lectures well but sometimes he is repetitive but that is basically so students can remember what he is saying. Its good for remembering. Other than that midterm was true/false which were pretty tricky so pay attention to the questions as much as possible. The final exam was long but they were short answer, sometimes you just need to write a word or two and not even answer in complete sentences in some cases. If the T.A. has a review session, GO TO IT!!!! He basically goes over the study guide, which is basically the final exam itself except a little tweaked around. The concepts are not that hard to understand anyways. Professor Brenner might make it sound like the subject is hard, but in reality if you really listen its very simple. Good class.

This class was about Economic European history. The subject wasn't that great but he got a good point across. He repeats stuff so he can get it in your head. The midterm was ok, it was multiple choice true/false, and the final was ok but took a while to do. The final was exaclty like the StudyGuide he gave us, even though thats cool, you still have to remember a lot of the stuff he taught. Very cool professor, he seems like he gets irritated with questions, but in reality he encourages it. So a pretty good professor. Worth taking, also the he looks at attendance when grading, so its important to attend class.

Please listen to this review and take my word on it. He is literally the worst professor I have had thus far at UCLA. Here are a few reasons why: 1. Condescending to his students when they try to ask a question. He feels it is appropriate to embarrass them in front of the class, which is completely unprofessional. 2. Goes on and on about the same topics throughout the entire 10 weeks. 3. Did not receive my midterm grade until week 10! 4.Spring 2014 quarter ended 2 weeks ago. I have just started my first week of summer school and guess what?! My grade is still not documented. MyUcla.edu has reported it as "NR". 5. He occasionally gets back to certain emails. Depends on how he feels that day I suppose. But for real...the list could go on. If you want to literally waste your money take his class. If you want a good education from a accredited university with a professional professor pick another teacher! Don't bother with this guy...
