I took this history sem and thought it went weel. There was a lot of reading that has to be done before you go to class otherwise everyonesits there and doesn't talk. The grade is based on class participation and papers. He grades the papers very thoroughly and gives very detailed reasons for the grades, which is helpful. overal it was a positive class expeience.
