Professor Shipe's lectures were very interesting and she explained even difficult topics in a simple way so that everyone could understand. The exams were doable if you study the notes. If you put some effort into it, you can easily get an A. There is no textbook, but instead Scientific American articles which were very interesting. I would definitely recommend Professor Shipe as a professor and would recommend the class as well. One of my favorite classes at UCLA!

Professor Shipe's lectures were very interesting and she explained even difficult topics in a simple way so that everyone could understand. The exams were doable if you study the notes. If you put some effort into it, you can easily get an A. There is no textbook, but instead Scientific American articles which were very interesting. I would definitely recommend Professor Shipe as a professor and would recommend the class as well. One of my favorite classes at UCLA!
