Simply the best physics professor in the department! he's always around and always willing to help. he was away a lot, but hes always very quick with emails; usually doesnt take longer then a few hours. he made 126 really enjoyable, too bad he's not teaching anything else UD.
Awesome and a very caring professor. physics 126 is supposedly not to be taught to undergrad students since it requires very sophisticated mathematical techniques, but Prof. Wallny could somehow make it understandable. He did some reviews on quantum if the class wishes to (115 C is the coreq for this course). He does travel a lot though since he has to report every single new observation to the particle physicists group in Chicago lab, but he substitutes the missing lecture day during the discussion section to make sure he could cover the materials. Overall, i recommend you guys taking this prof.
