I really enjoyed this Fiat Lux. Professor Munro was very welcoming and engaging throughout the class and during office hours. This course was a great introduction to linguistics (particularly for someone like myself who had never dabbled in the subject before) and it was super fun to learn to speak some Klingon. Overall, I feel as though Professor Munro worked hard to make this engaging in the online setting and succeeded in doing so. It was the class I most looked forward to throughout fall quarter. I would definitely take this or another class with Professor Munro again!

It was okay.
Perhaps if you were a hard core linguist and/or a Star Trek fan you'd be into it.

Overall not too hard. Reading is quite fun (from a non-linguist)

You won't really get to know the people in class since it's primarily lecture.

Cool experience, though.
