So she starts the class explaining how easy the class is gonna be, so I didnt try at all cuz she guaranteed everyone A's basically. Then I skip a few classes, and come back and I swear we were doing rocket science. Needless to say, PAY ATTENTION and don't miss lectures. She is very nice, I just wish she would explain everything the class covers before she jumped into Calc in a Pre-Calc class. I dropped the class week 9. She signed my drop sheet, then anounced to the class that I forged her signature to get out. Okay lady! Wish me luck in Calc with no pre-calc foundation. FML
I had Professor Greene over the summer. She was a great professor and genuinely wanted to help the students. She was always so cheerful so she was really easy to talk to. Her grading was lenient, but she still did her job as a Professor to make sure the students understood the concepts. There were no surprises on any of her tests. As long as you take advantage of the practice tests and try to fully understand everything then you will do great.
Math 1 is an overall easy course, and professor Greene makes it even easier. Her exams are straight forward and not hard at all. just study, and get to know her and you will get a good grade. Not just that, but incase you're not doing so well, her curve is very generous. don't think twice about taking her, she's awesome.
You do not have to think twice about taking courses with this professor. Mrs. Greene is one of the nicest math teachers I have ever had. Coming to UCLA, I expected all professors to be arrogant and unwilling to devote attention to one specific student. However, Professor Greene proved me wrong. She was always willing to help. She even extended her office hours many times, specially prior to a test because she was willing to help each student individually. Her lectures are very easy to understand. Her tests are not super hard with questions that you would never expect on there. She hands out practice problems before each test and if you do them well, you will practically get an A on the exam, given you've done all the hw as well. I would definitely recommend Professor Greene.
Professor Greene is very caring and understanding with her students. She is very compassionate about the subject she teaches, which makes it even better to be in her lecture. I personally had Math 1 at 8am and did not miss a single lecture because she is entertaining and so genuine. She will help you with whatever you may need! TAKE HER!
I love Professor Greene. She's really upbeat during lectures and she makes the concepts really understandable. The midterms and final were very fair and easy. She also gives very helpful reviews beforehand. There are lots of homework assigned, but they help out a lot for the exams.
Greene is an average professor. She tries to make the concepts understandable, but sometimes students will get confused. I took Math 1 back in high school so this class was not difficult for me. However, anyone who hasn't learned it beforehand might face difficulties because she confuses us sometimes. As far as homework, she assigns lots of problems but they will help you prepare for exams. Don't sweat! Other than that, Greene is a genuine and fun professor. Most of the students seem to like her. = )
Paige Greene is an amazing math professor. She is understandable, caring and available. She really works hard to make sure that students understand concepts and can apply them. She is one of the most affective math professors I have taken at UCLA. I highly suggest her.
however, the final is really hard and not related to any content covered in class. Any study guides for the final are irrelevant making an average of 25% fail per lecture
