She was a nice professor, but I wish she would allow more questions during class. She refused to go back and explain a problem, instead she recommended we watch the recording of class again. One thing I liked was how she gave us a week to complete the homework and offered help at times.
One of my favorite professors at UCLA! She is very clear, concise, and charming during her lectures, often stopping to ensure that she's moving at an acceptable speed for everyone. Greene is very approachable during her many office hours, as she values your time and your questions. Her tests are fair, and she gives plenty of resources to prepare for them. I highly recommend taking one of her classes if you can!
Professor Greene is amazing! She is so helpful and approachable. I attended almost every one of her office hours because I tend to struggle with math and I ended the quarter with an A. She is so great at explaining the content and really cares about how her students learn the material. Her midterms and finals are challenging, but nothing that she does not prepare you for. If you do and understand all of the worksheets and materials she assigns, you'll be very prepared. Overall, Professor Greene is so considerate, compassionate, and caring. I've never met another professor that cares about her students so much, not only in academics, but on a personal level as well.
Professor Greene is so sweet! The class is very organized and clear. Homework can take a while if you're slow at math, but it is never too extreme. For Math 1, the textbook was free and online. Her LA's were very helpful, and set up review sessions before the test. Amazing professor, would take again.
Green is probably one of the sweetest professor's you'll ever meet. You can tell she loves math and loves teaching it. The class itself is honestly pretty easy and especially if you're good at math, then no doubt you can get an A. Green is happy to help as long as you ask for it, and she has plenty of office hours for you to do so. The homework load was a decent amount, it could be a little tedious sometimes but it was definitely good practice. Her midterms were easy, but the final on the other hand was different and more difficult, but still manageable. And I think she has a pretty easy curve. I would DEFINITELY recommend Green !!!
( and just a little disclaimer: I had no background in pre-calc at all and had no interest in learning it whatsoever, so I just want to put it out there that my barely-passing grade is not a reflection of her teaching at all. To be completely honest I think I should have failed, but I believe with all my heart that she gave me mercy points to pass me because she's just that sweet )
The professor explained all the topics in the class clearly. Furthermore, the class was easy to follow and required almost no effort if you go to class. The homework is quite lengthy, but it helps you understand the material and is similar to the midterm and final. The class is also generously curved with the cutoff for an A being at 85 percent. Take this class with Professor Greene if you have to take it.
Paige was the sweetest teacher. She made waking up at 8am three times a week that less grueling. Even though MS 4000A is one of the most depressing rooms to be in, she really did her best to keep us engaged. Both midterms were fair, but the final was low key brutal. Gave us a study guide of 20 questions and the final was 26 questions.... I think you can guess which 6 questions were 60% of your grade while the other 20 were 40% of our grade... yeah you guessed right, the ones that WERENT on the study guide. However, she’s very sweet, class was fair. I’d recommend taking it with her.
She is an amazing professor! Although pre calc is hard she makes it manageable just practice practice practice. I recommend looking at past exams they're very helpful. I am selling the wiley plus program for a negotiable price. **********
Professor Greene's like a grandma. She wears birkenstocks and fuzzy socks to class. How can you not love her? Super helpful in office hours too. Also, the grading scale is extremely generous. I got Cs on both the midterms and a D+ on her final but ended the class with a solid B. Reviews are exactly like tests and her exams take a select # of questions from the HW and online Quizzes. Basically, DO THE WORK AND DON'T DO IT LAST MINUTE OR YOU WILL DIE. Getting an A has never been more dependent on actually just doing the work.
Take her for 3A, 3B, and 3C too if you can. Apparently, she also rocks those classes as well.
