As a Soc major, I was dreading taking the Math pre-req. But Prof. Greene made this class completely do-able and I actually looked forward to going to class. She is EXTREMELY concerned about student learning and is a very interesting, organized lecturer. She made sure we understood all of the content before moving on and went slowly enough for everyone to fully grasp the concepts. I would absolutely recommend taking Math 2 with her--she is awesome and made this class way easier than I expected! What a sweetheart!

Fall 2021 - The workload was very heavy, the weekly homework takes a lot of time to complete. The two midterms were very challenging and I was often marked off almost all of the available points for simple errors such as a missing symbol, these simple errors almost made me fail the class.

Spring 2021 - I had taken this professor before and absolutely loved her. I took 3C with her and it was the best choice I could have made. She was super helpful and genuinely cared if we understood the concepts. She offered office hours every end of class and would schedule it for others days if you needed it. She gave us the practice midterm which was very similar to the actual exams. The hw consisted of maybe 10 problems tops that did take some time but that's calculus for you. Grade consisted of both midterms and finals and the homework and online hw. It was clear and if you needed help, Professor Greene was always available. She made it more pleasant to learn.

Spring 2018 - - wiley plus- can be found for like $60 on ebay btw, useless af and we only had 4 assignments - hw- 2/8 assignments got dropped - tests- just like practice exams, DO THE PRACTICE EXAMS. test averages are like 85% - final curve was pretty good - she posts this girls lectures notes online and that's all you need. you really need to go to lectures tbh

Summer 2020 - Admittedly I found this class easy because I'd taken AP Calculus in high school, but I think even people without prior knowledge will do well with Professor Greene. She genuinely cares about her students, so she's always willing to answer questions and help you when you have trouble. Her lectures move at an appropriate pace and are pretty clear, and when something is unclear and you need clarification she's always willing to explain. Each homework assignment was only about 10 problems, and while there were several assignments due across the week, it was easily manageable; it wasn't busywork with too many useless problems. Exams were the same difficulty or slightly harder (but not too much harder) than homework. The TA Harris Khan was also very helpful, doing many clear examples and having a lot of office hours to help students. Overall, I'd highly recommend taking math with Paige Greene.

Fall 2019 - Professor Greene was extremely caring about her students and always had a positive attitude. She offers lots of office hours and brings in learning assistants too so it was easy to find someone to answer a question or help with the homework. The homework can take a long time some weeks but the exams are really straightforward if you take her practice tests. If math isn't your strong suit she's a great professor to have!

Winter 2022 - Professor Greene really is an incredibly sweet professor! She explained concepts really well and took her time going over it. This class consisted of achieve online assignments (20%) Written homework which are questions from the textbook (15%) Midterm I (20%) Midterm II (20%) Attendance (5%) , with 2 absences that get excused Final (20%) There was also an option to drop midterm II and have the final worth 40% of your total grade. Overall this class was very manageable. With it being online still, our exams were all online and 24 hours. Professor Greene would post it early giving us about 30 hours to complete the exam. She also responds to emails very quickly! The only complaint I would have is the structure of the class. Due dates aren't easy to remember like every Sunday. Despite this she did make it very clear during lecture and on canvas what day the homeworks would be due and gave plenty of time for it to be completed. I highly recommend Professor Greene if you're taking Math 31B, she really cares for her students. Her grading scale : 98-100 : A+ 90-98 : A 87-89 : A- 80-86 : B 68-79 : C <59 : F
