Omar put everyone in his class at ease, being very flexible to all situations and skillsets. The discussions were very open and friendly, making everyone feel comfortable to speak up. His grading is very understanding of the student experience and he is open for any support in your writing assignments. He will give you extensions for papers, and tolerates tardiness as a commuter himself. Very great writing 2 class, I highly recommend!

The professor was extremely nice and I enjoyed going to class. I sprained my ankle over the summer and he understood my situation and still gave me participation points. The class was very easy - we were assigned interesting readings and we had to write a final essay. I don't remember if there was a midterm. We did have an in-class presentation that was very short and easy.
