Gana is defiantly interested and knowledgeable on what he teaches. I enjoyed his film selection for the class and felt he was a fair grader. Participation in the class will get you far. And the workload is very manageable.

Hands down best class I have taken at UCLA, I learnt so much, watched so many movies, became friends with everyone in the discussions and love the professor. He is passionate about what he teaches, has a great syllabus with diverse movies, films and interviews to watch, and kept the class engaging all 10 weeks. Workload was very manageable and participation was expected. I highly recommend this class and I guarantee any of his other classes are amazing as well! :)
