After taking Math 131ABH with professor Visan, I can confidently say that she's (one of) the best math professor I've ever had; her lectures are extremely clear, and homework assignments are helpful for us to truly understand our content. Also, she's always willing to help us when we get stuck on our homework problems.
However, be careful about her finals; the 131AH final she gave was more difficult comparing to homeworks and midterms that quarter, and the 131BH final was terribly difficult. But this still doesn't affect the fact that she's an excellent professor.
Visan is an amazing professor! Definitely take her if you can.
Lectures: She's probably the clearest lecturer I've had at UCLA. Analysis is a subject where you really have to understand every logical step you make, and Visan always makes it a point to show every detail of a proof without being overly pedantic.
Homework: We had homework every week, even during midterm weeks. The homeworks were usually pretty difficult and took me ~10 hours each. Visan does give out the answers during office hours if you ask, but try the problems yourself first! If you put in the effort, you'll get a lot out of the homeworks.
Exams: The midterms (both in 131AH and 131BH) were, in my opinion, a lot easier than the homeworks. The 131BH final, on the other hand, was really difficult, but her grading in the end was fair and lenient IMO.
