This teacher didn't even turn in our grades until the third week of the next quarter. If that doesn't tell you enough about her incompetence then I don't know what else to say.

Professor Silverberg is definitely unique, and very passionate about the subject she teaches. I agree with the student below that this class requires quite a bit of work, but they can be accomplished without much difficulty if you do it weekly and not procrastinate until the last minute. She can be a bit unorganized in classes, but the readings and other materials (eg. films and seminars) are excellent choices and helpful for us in understanding the subject matter. Also, the TAs are very friendly and helpful. They are accessible both in classes and office hours. I'd recommend this class to both history majors and those who are non-history majors but looking for a fun class to fulfill the GE! :)
