Winter 2019 - Miodrag is objectively the worst professor I've had at UCLA. He does almost no teaching during the course of the 2 hour lectures. Instead he passes the time by flipping through slides or going over needless administrative items. Almost none of the content that is on the exams can be learned from him. You must hope that your TAs cover the material or that the exams closely follow the pattern of previously posted exams (the only saving grace of this class). His total disinterest in our success in the class is revealed when he does such things as answer his cell phone during the midterm right by his microphone so that the Mong Learning Center reverberates with his voice. Perhaps this is already clear but I highly recommend avoiding him.

One word: hated him and his subject. Stupidest course I have ever seen. Class discussions were about trivia in life ranging from biology (how many sex a stupid insect has) to greek mythology. This doesn't even qualify as a real CS subject. I was so bored in the class that I stopped attending them. At some point he found out that I wasn't interested in the course and doing it for degree requirements and decided to give me a bad grade. I can live with that but I just wish I hadn't wasted n number of hours of my life taking this non-CS class and doing its assignments. The most disappointing aspect was his way of teaching: pose a stupid trivia question nobody knows or cares about and try to justify his supremacy over others. Sure you get an easy A in this course. However, what they say about grad courses being fun doesn't include this course.
