Professor Nasiali is an amazing lecturer and a wonderful person. She always comes to the class with a positive energy which is infectious. Her lecturing style is extremely engaging, and the classes are always so informative and multi-dimensional. The readings she assigns are very interesting and well connected. This class will definitely increase your analytical skills.
If you go to her office hours to go over your assignments, your writing will improve SO MUCH! I cannot stress this enough. Her feedback is extremely helpful and constructive; I owe a lot to her. She is really encouraging, understanding, and the nicest person ever.
She is one of the best professors at UCLA, so do yourselves a favor and take one her classes.
Professor Nasiali is very nice and helpful but grades extremely harshly. I followed her advice and went to office hours each week, applying what she told me to improve my writing, but each week she gave me the same low grade. Very disappointed with the class in general and how unnecessarily difficult this class was.
