Schricker clearly cares a lot about her students' success. She is very patient with her students and goes out of her way to provide resources for them to use. I had her during COVID and she let us correct our homework and resubmit for a higher grade as many times as it took for us to learn the materials. She taught using powerpoint slides and made grammar videos for us to watch and take notes on for homework. Our homework consisted of weekly short video responses to provided prompts, grammar and kanji worksheets, and turning in the notes. It was a bit tedious but I feel like I learned a lot. Quizzes were a bit tough but she gave us multiple tries and took the highest score. There were also a couple extra credit opportunities. She responded to emails promptly and was overall very communicative. She even created a little anonymous feedback box and took our suggestions seriously. I've never felt more cared for as a student than when I was taking her class. She is a very energetic and fun professor and I enjoyed her class very much!
