Professor Clayton is really knowledgeable and is always willing to give students help outside of class whether it be by e-mail or in office hours. The class structure is totally reasonable, as she only asks you to read 3-5 poems per class. The slew of student presentations that the class contained got very boring after the first few weeks, but the discussions that she lead were generally interesting and were very in-depth. The class is lead in both Spanish and English which is nice for non-native speakers because they are given the opportunity to chose which language they feel most comfortable using. I would take another class with Professor Clayton, even though she isn't a very easy grader- I wouldn't characterize her as a hard grader either.
