I admit Prof. Fanselow's tests are hard, but it's not as bad as everyone says it is. It's just different...not memorizing. His lectures are interesting and he brings humor into them, which I liked. Yes, Prof. Fanselow is hard, but he was nothing like what some previous reviews says he was. (Yeah, I read them before taking the class, and was surprised when I actually took the class. He's not that bad!)
Although Fanselow is a decent lecturer, I would advise anyone to AVOID THIS CLASS at all costs. The material seems straight forward and understandable until you get the exams. These tests are INCREDIBIBLY DIFFICULT! Personally, I'm a good multiple choice test taker, I read the book and I didn't miss a lecture, but it didn't help a bit. It's the type of multiple choice exam where you feel like it really doesn't matter how much you study, you still don't do well (as shown by the mean of 19.5/40 for our second midterm). In the end, his good lectures don't make up for the time expense and frustration caused by this class. If you care at all about your GPA DO NOT TAKE PSYCH 110!
