The lectures were so long….BUT The TAs and professors really love art so discussions were fun and interesting. I got new perspective about old buildings and objects that I’m so excited to apply when I travel!

I liked the class. though the lectures can be a bit dry but they get the message through. As long as you take good notes you will do just fine. As someone who took ap art history in high school I found this class to be pretty easy.

Lowkey for this to be a GE it was really hard and time consuming especially difficult of your other classes are intense. This class has a weekly worksheet due before section and it asked very specific questions which means you had to do the readings which for most part were really boring and long. Then section was a very small room so you have to talk bc were al just at one small table w the TA. I loved my TA Ezequiel tho he was very helpful and nice. And then there was an in person midterm and final exam. They were very memory based on specific pieces who's details you had to know such as year, creator, region and style and then there would be surprize ones where we had to guess bc we had never seen them before. second section of exam were short response and there was also a section for art terms. I did end up getting an A but that was barelyyyy this class was so much work
