Oh man...the only good news about this class is that Professor Martens is just a visiting lecturer. This class is interesting and he is very knowledgeable about Early Netherlandish Art History. He works at a museum and university in Brussels so this was his first time at a UC (and made it very known). The only thing that we were assigned for a grade was the final exam and paper. That's it. So If you're a bad tester - you're F***ed. Throughout the whole quarter, the class was uneasy since these were the only factors in our final grade, but the whole time we were assured (while chuckling) that it was going to be a breeze...yeah, okay. Lastly, the guy had a heavy accent which made it difficult to follow.
