Greene is one of the sweetest teachers I have ever had. She is super funny during lecture while still being a really good teacher. I took AP Calc in hs so I knew most of the content we went over in class which is why I found it really easy. This class was 8ams four days a week and was not bruin casted. Discussion attendance was mandatory, since they took role. She has her office hours in the Boelter workspace where I just went to ask hw questions. This helped me a lot because other people from class always went and Mrs. Greene was always there to answer questions. If you do all the homework and understand it, you will be set for the exams. Before each exam, she posts practice problems. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THEM. Her tests are the EXACT same as the practice problems she uploads. There are no tricks in this class just know the hw and you will get an A.
Professor Greene does everything in her power to ensure her students know the concepts. She is always making herself available and just wants everyone to succeed. The reason I didn't get an A was just because I never bothered going to lecture and would teach myself the concepts, but if you go to lecture this class is an easy A. Her practice exams are the perfect thing to study for her exams! The homework would get lengthy sometimes but she gives you a week to do it, and only 6 are required to turn in. She also has two different grading schemes, so if you mess up on one of the midterms she will only count one of them and just make the final worth more.
Math 3A was a breeze so many students dropped their guards in 3B. Everyone who did so was shocked when they saw that questions on her exams were not from her study guides anymore. The averages of the class feel dramatically and the curve didn't help much. Went from an A in 3A to a B- in 3B.
