Professor Alkin, Professor Christie, and Mariana (TA) were really helpful and understanding with everything going on. They made the whole online learning really organized and easy to work with. All of the assignments and readings were self-paced which was nice, and we only had to meet twice for lecture over Zoom. Highly recommend the class
Evaluation may seem like a dull subject but Dr. Alkin engages the class in a way to make it very interesting and you come to realize evaluation is a skill you will need throughout your life, especially in whatever career you choose.
The class consists of 2 quizzes (18 pts each), 2 papers (16 pts each), a presentation (10 pts) and participation (22 pts). It's not curved, but it's easy to get an A as long as you study for the quizzes and participate. there's also an extra credit assignment worth 5 points if you need it.
overall a good class that i would recommend.
