Mariška is simply the greatest person on Earth. She is so caring and helpful to all her students, and she made Spanish fun for someone who isn't too good at learning new languages. Though she challenges you, Mariška is always there to help you along the way and get you through the course. Best Spanish section you could take!

Mariska is such a lovely human being! She is one of my favorite Spanish TA's. The only thing about her though is her grading is really tough when it comes to the oral and written exams. For both oral exams this quarter she only gave two people a 90% or above. You also have to stick with your midterm oral group for your final oral, which sucks if your group is bad. That being said, she tells you exactly what you need to do on the exam in order to do well and she grades based off of what you say during the exam, not how much your partners speak. Her lectures are very engaging and she makes the activities interesting as well. She is definitely one of the most approachable people on the planet and I recommend her to anyone who is willing to participate in her class! If you're looking for a good grade/GPA booster this might not be the class though. If you take it with her I recommend taking it P/NP.
