Pretty chill professor. You go to class and have hw/lab assignments for the first half of the quarter and then you split off into groups (1-5 people) and do a project for the rest. For the first half of the quarter, it can seem a bit hectic and you might get lost during the labs, but the TA (for us, Joseph) helped a lot. You can pick you own groups for the final project.
There is no final but a quiz during 9th week which is multiple choice, open notes/book.
For the project (~4 weeks to work on it when there isnt class/lab) it is pretty open (make an app for android/iphone), except it has to use bluetooth/nfc/wireless. During week 10, you make a presentation for your project and then just turn in a report during finals week.
If you or your friends havent done this type of project (android) previously, it might be a bit tough. There is no guidance for the project, so you just gotta figure stuff out. But it's a good class. Shouldnt be too hard, and not very stressful.
